About Us
Who We Are
Lewistown Assembly of God is a Christ-centered, family-oriented, Spirit-led church in the heart of our community. We’re committed to teaching God’s Word clearly, walking with one another in prayer, and helping people grow in faith — no matter where they’re coming from.
Our church has been a part of Lewistown since the 1930s, and our current building has welcomed generations of families since 1966. We’re proud to serve a community where people look out for each other and care about real-life needs.

Lead Pastor
Meet our Pastor
Pastor Kirk Nagel
Pastor Kirk Nagel was named senior pastor of Lewistown Assembly of God in 2022, a leadership moment that he describes as a true homecoming for his family. Before stepping into this role, Kirk and his wife Andrea served side-by-side for nine years as Children and Youth Pastors at the church, building relationships with families and guiding young people in faith before moving on to other ministry opportunities, including serving as senior pastor in Houtzdale.
Kirk’s passion is helping people connect with God in practical, everyday life. He leads with warmth and a heart for families, clear Bible-based teaching, and a genuine love for the Lewistown community. Whether in worship, prayer, or outreach, his focus is on helping people grow in their faith and feel welcomed every step of the way.
A Place for Everyone
We know visiting a church can feel intimidating, especially if it’s been a while. At Lewistown Assembly of God, you’re welcome just as you are. We’ve seen people come and go, but one thing never changes: our commitment to being a warm, caring church where anyone can belong.
